Jackson County CASA is collaborating with CASA Volunteers to establish an advisory committee of volunteers. The top priorities of the advisory committee are:

• Provide volunteer feedback to CASA staff and act as a sounding board for ideas or program updates.
• Plan forums and events for volunteers to connect and share resources and ideas.
• Provide volunteer mentoring and support, including volunteer shadowing, self-care, and support during critical incidents.

If you are interested in being part of the CASA Volunteer Advisory Committee or if you would like to learn more about their goals, please join their committee meeting Monday, July 29, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in person at the CASA office (2544 Holmes, KCMO) or you can join virtually via Microsoft Teams.
