Misty Campbell, Assistant Professor and Community Engagement Director at the University of Missouri - Kansas City, will lead Jackson County CASA volunteers and staff in a presentation about community trauma and resilience.

Community trauma is a term we are just starting to see utilized in mainstream conversations. We know it's important to understand the impact community trauma has on the development and engagement of individuals in high-crime communities. It is also important to understand community resilience. How do we build community resilience and how do we acknowledge the work already being done? Join us in person or via Microsoft Teams to discuss the parameters and impacts of community trauma and the value of a community resilience focus.

What Information Do We Collect? How Can You Access and Correct Your Information? You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us using the contact form provided to you within the site structure of our website.
