Continuing Education: Supports for Families Impacted by Gun Violence
This is the first training in a four-part series focused on gun violence and gun safety. Mothers in Charge will present information on their organization and supports they offer to families impacted by gun violence. Mothers in Charge is an organization that cares for Kansas City families who have lost a loved one to homicide, providing victim and family services, education, and advocacy. They are a group of mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and a caring community committed to working to prevent others from experiencing the tragedy of homicide.
