From Protection to Power: Uplifting Black & Queer Youth in Child Welfare, presented by the CASA House Committee

Learn how you can make a positive difference in the life of a young person by becoming a CASA Volunteer. Hera from some of our Black and LGBTQIA+ youth who are affected by the child welfare system. Members of the CASA Older Youth Committee will discuss their experiences with the intersectionality of being in care and their identities. CASA will be presenting and the youth will discuss the importance of having volunteers who are allies at this event.
